Camden Aquarium

The Camden Aquarium in New Jersey offers an exciting venue for the aquarium hobbyist and underwater enthusiast. The exhibits on display offer every kind of habitats. All kinds of wild and wonderful creatures are waiting for you. One of the most interesting displays is the West Africa River experience. Here you will be feet away from dangerous crocodiles and the even the most dangerous animal in Africa, the Nile Hippopotamus. You may not think of these animals as dangerous however these large beasts are capable of opening their mouths 4 ft. Only whales can top that jaw dropping number. You will also be among exotic birds and be immersed in the middle of thousands of fish. The Camden Aquarium brings all the excitement of Africa without the fear of malaria.

Next you could stop in at the Caribbean exhibits where you won’t believe these creatures came from this planet. Fish of all colors shapes and sizes are on display each with unique features. There is also an octopus on display. These fantastic sea creatures always amaze as they swim along amidst all the other wonders like seahorses and barracuda. This is yet another place in the Camden Aquarium which is able to give you an experience out of the ordinary.

The Camden Aquarium also houses over twenty African penguins. These flightless birds are captivating to watch, as they seem to struggle along the ground and then gracefully glide through the water with ease. There are too many great things about the Camden Aquarium to list here. Take my word for it, this aquarium will not disappoint. They are open daily from 9 to 5.
