Dallas World Aquarium

The Dallas world aquarium has a unique variety of aquatic animals on display from the sea and also from the land. You will be able to experience a 360-degree view of the aquatic life when you walk through the 22,000-gallon tunnel. This is an experience like no other, where you can see life the way a fish might. The Dallas world aquarium also has fish on display fish from many different habitats from all over the world.

One of the features of the Dallas world aquarium that you may not get to see anywhere else is the Antillean Manatees. The closest living relatives to these water-loving animals are suprisingly elephants and aardvarks so it is amazing to watch these large animals swimming around. A long way from their homes, the Dallas world aquarium also houses a colony of penguins to entertain you. You will be amazed as you watch one swim by at nearly 20 miles an hour. There is also a menagerie of land animals to see while you are here as well.

When you walk through a 40-foot tunnel at the Dallas world aquarium visitors can view some of the bull sharks on display here or try and find one of the Mexican walking fish. These fish are unlike any other fish on display. All of these animals are put on display in the Maya exhibit, which also has flamingos and crocodiles. There are also many birds flying among the displays that are sure to catch your eye.
