Downtown Aquarium

There a number of cities that have a downtown aquarium in the city centre. The Houston downtown aquarium is one example that came together when two landmarks were combined into one fantastic amusement and entertainment centre. The central waterworks building was combined with the fire station No. 1 building and built into a huge six-acre entertainment and dining complex. The aquatic pool has over 500,000 gallons of water and is home to over 200 species of fish and other aquatic life.

The Denver downtown aquarium is another aquarium that is located in the Denver city Centre area. This downtown aquarium has of course the aquarium, a dining area and a number of aquarium adventure exhibits. Patrons can go under the sea with sharks, and even observe rattlesnakes in the desert or the rain forest. There are also Sumatra tigers and a variety of colourful birds.

The Denver Downtown Aquarium is located at 700 Water st, in Denver. You can call them at 303-561-4450 and they are open from 10 am to 10 pm Sunday through Thursday and from 10 am to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday. There is a great deal to see including a dining area were guests can sit around a 150,000 gallon aquarium with fish, sharks, stingrays and much more to gaze at and enjoy.

The Houston Downtown Aquarium is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 am to 10 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 11 pm. There is also a small train that tours the complex. They call this train the CP Huntington train. There is a full service restaurant, ballroom facilities and an upscale bar. There is shopping and a variety of other amusements in and around the Houston Downtown Aquarium.
