Florida Aquarium

 

There is much to see at the Florida aquarium and visitors will never be disappointed with all of the exhibits that are available. There is an expanded shark collection, you can dive in our shark tank, or see ocean predators and spineless wonders from around the world, even rare leafy sea dragons from Australia. There is also an invasive species exhibit with games for kids of all ages and plus playful river otters, American alligators, free-flying birds, a giant Pacific octopus, and more for you to see!

There are also dive shows daily at the Florida aquarium including one with a diver in our shark tank. Patrons can explore the Bay on the Eco-Tour aboard a 64-foot catamaran! This ride can be pretty exciting all by itself without even seeing some of the many aquatic residents. Visitors can also take part in close-up animal encounters, and feel around our two touch tanks, and more.

The Florida Aquarium Gift Shop offers aquatic treasures and unique souvenirs There is something for every budget and every taste such as T-shirts, toys, books, jewellery, coffee mugs, home accents, even authentic Austrian crystal and Italian glass!

If you get tired exploring the Florida aquarium take a break in our casual waterfront cafe, Café Ray, were you can purchase freshly made deli sandwiches, pizza, assorted fresh salads, and our popular grilled cuisine. Full line of bottled water and fountain drinks, plenty of quick snacks and lite-bites are also available. The Florida aquarium is open for regular hours from 9:30 am until 5 pm daily. They are open every day except thanksgiving and Christmas. Adults must pay $17.95, while seniors pay a reduce fee of $14.95. Children under 12 pay $12.95. There are also eco tours available for purchase and there are combination tickets that are available for both the Florida aquarium and the eco tour.
