New Jersey Aquarium

The Philadelphia Zoo manages the New Jersey Aquarium and it is an excellent, modern facility. They are adding new exhibits since its opening a few years ago.

The New Jersey Aquarium is located along Camden's waterfront opposite Penn's Landing and just north of the Blockbuster-Sony Entertainment Centre. The New Jersey Aquarium is visited on a regular basis by buses of school children, individual families, and many other tour groups.

There are Caribbean exhibits where you won’t believe these creatures came from this planet. Fish of all colors shapes and sizes are on display each with unique features. There is also an octopus on display at the New Jersey Aquarium . These fantastic sea creatures always amaze as they swim along amidst all the other wonders like seahorses and barracuda. This is yet another place in the New Jersey Aquarium which is able to give you an experience out of the ordinary.

The New Jersey Aquarium in New Jersey offers an exciting venue for the aquarium hobbyist and underwater enthusiast. The exhibits on display offer many different kinds of habitats. An interesting display is the West Africa River experience. In this exhibit you will be feet away from dangerous crocodiles and the even the most dangerous animal in Africa, the Nile Hippopotamus. These animals can be very dangerous since these large beasts are capable of opening their mouths 4 ft. Only whales can open their mouth more. There are exotic birds and you will be immersed in the middle of thousands of fish. The New Jersey Aquarium brings all the excitement of Africa without the fear of malaria.
